ALLCOURT PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY
At allcourt, the protection of visitors' personal data is a top priority, as we want all visitors to our website to feel safe while browsing. 1. What data is considered personal data?
Personal data means “any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person” (Article 4 of EU Regulation 2016/679). Examples of personal data include a person's first and last name, home address, telephone number and email address, namely data that can identify and determine a specific individual.
2. What does the processing of Personal Data consist of?
According to Article 4 of European Regulation 2016/679, the processing of personal data means “any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.”
3. What data must the visitor provide and for what purpose?
The allcourt team collects only the personal data that is strictly necessary in order for the visitor to access specific services provided through the allcourt website. In all cases, the allcourt team collects visitors' personal data for the following lawful purposes:
- either for the visitor's subscription to the Newsletter, so that they may receive newsletters and updates.
- either for communication between the visitor and the allcourt team and for the visitor to express an interest in its services.
- either because the allcourt team is subject to a legal obligation imposed by Greek and European legislation.
- or because the allcourt team has a legitimate interest.
4. Who has access to the personal data provided by the visitor?
Access to the visitor's personal data is granted only to those members of staff and/or partners of our team for whom such access is strictly necessary. All such persons have agreed and undertaken to comply with confidentiality and non-disclosure obligations and are fully compliant with the provisions of the European legislation governing the processing of personal data.
5. What applies regarding the security and deletion of the Visitor's personal data?
The allcourt team, giving priority to the protection of visitors' personal data, has taken all necessary measures to safeguard users' personal data and to prevent unauthorised access, loss, accidental destruction, unlawful dissemination or disclosure. Visitors' personal data is retained by the allcourt team only for the period of time necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. In particular, with regard to the sending of newsletters, the visitor's personal data remains available to the allcourt team for as long as newsletters continue to be sent to the visitor.
6. What are the visitor's rights?
The visitor has the following rights:
- the visitor may, at any time, request information regarding which personal data is being processed, the purpose of such processing and, in the event of incorrect information, request the rectification of inaccurate personal data.
- where the visitor's personal data is no longer necessary for processing, the visitor has the right to request its deletion.
- the visitor has the right, at any time, to withdraw their consent to the processing of their personal data. Such a request shall be accepted provided that there are no lawful grounds requiring the continued processing of the visitor's personal data.
7. What is the applicable law?
The applicable law is Greek national law, as amended and currently in force following the entry into force of EU Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of personal data.
